The development direction

The main development direction of spiral steel tube factory is:

(1) the steel pipe with new structure is designed and produced. For example, the double-layer spiral welded steel pipe, namely, the strip steel with the thickness of half of the pipe wall is welded into a double-layer pipe, which is not only stronger than the single-layer pipe with the same thickness, but also will not cause brittle damage;

(2) to develop new types of steel, improve the level of smelting technology, and widely adopt controlled rolling and post-rolling waste heat treatment technology, so as to continuously improve the strength and toughness of the pipe body and welding function;

(3) the development of coating tube, such as the tube inner wall coated with anticorrosive layer, not only can extend the service life, and can improve the smoothness of the inner wall, reduce fluid friction resistance, reduce wax and dirt deposition, reduce the number of pigging, reduce the maintenance cost;

(4) production of large diameter thick wall pipe to improve the pressure resistance.
