Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 28 announced that the national non-working period will be extendedl until May 11Putin ordered the government to prenare by Mav 5 a plan for the gradual liffino of restrictions related tovernnCovID-19 from May 12 He said these recommendations would take into account the outbreak situation in.order to provide criteria or index for lifting restrictions. and federal agencies would have a week to prepare.with some recions continuina to impose or even tiohten restrictions while others could phase out quarantine and resume work.He also ordered the government to prepare a package of measures to support the economy and the livelihood of Russian citizens.
