Iran's copper product exports value doubled to USD1 billion over the past year (from March 2019 to March 2020), and the whole industry realized production value of USD4.5 billion, according to a senior official from Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO). In addition, the country's main iron and steel companies produced 18.5 million tonnes of steel products from March 2019 to February 2020. up by 4% YOY, IMIDRO expects steel production for this vear to increase further by 3.2 million tonnes, along with a USD793 million rise in production value
