Colombia has imposed a final safeguard on imports of rebar steel

On March 13, 2019, Columbia tourism released on March 13, 2019, international trade and industry datuk seri rafidah aziz decree no. 367, the id number for the 7213.10.00.00 and 7214.20.00.00 import rebar (Spanish: Barrasdehierrooacerocorrugadas) make the final safeguard measures: to product on the basis of MFN tariff (10%) increased 8.5% tariff, valid for two years.Countries that have a free-trade agreement with Colombia are not subject to the tax.The resolution shall come into force on the date of promulgation.Colombia launched an investigation into the import of rebar safeguard measures on nov 3, 2018.
